Dependently Independent: "Equality of opportunity"

The day when passes by give a lot of insight & introspection opportunity. Today what I am going to talk about is a serious issue.

India is tauted to be a an equal opportunity country. Women have been lagging behind and hence the Female Quota came in, but in this rush of supporting one of the genders it deviated a lot from its basic cause.

Equal opportunity means that Male & Female are given equal opportunity to do any task equally, then why is there a discrimination against Male???

The roots of this discussion lies on a the fact that on security check on malls, multiplexes etc, a male has to go through detailed check & body frisking, while a female is just made to pass unchecked.

This is just not what happened once, but perhaps always. On various occasions at Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Nasik & Chennai.

So why is there a discrimination against males? On a global forum, the greatest threats come from females.

Hence its a paradox, on one side you say "Equal Opportunity" and on the other side you demean the possible opportunity a female caries as a threat. Really India is a land of wonders!!!

People who know me or have been with me on such occasions would know how much i have been concerned about this.

Thanks that the sacrosanct freedom of expression is still available.

Tomorrow will be a new day & I will come out with a new introspected or just stupid things...

The Soul Curry

Hi Fellas,

This evening as I lay back on my bed and try to ponder on, the most spontaneous but strong mental scape which comes is of music and i wanted to call it as "Soul Curry".

As I have grown over the past years the music in me has grown much faster.

The change is from some who would listen just because its being played to someone who would listen coz the soul wanted that. its a lot to say in a lucid 2 lines, but yes, its true.

For nights when the most strength was required, the one which stayed with me was the music. My neighbor will call it as noise, but yes, that music calms me.

Joe wrestling with his string to Elvis scoring effortlessly have been my companion.

this space will surely be getting more exciting with more curries being cooked... watch out for more serving...
